DISCLAIMER: In this Mei Marom shiur we touched on some heavy topics: marriage, commitment, regret over past decisions, and living off of moments of clarity. Obviously, in a shiur of close to a half hour, all one can do is give general guidelines and instruction. Life can certainly get complex, and the application of guidelines needs to be fine-tuned to the intricate specifics at hand. Nevertheless, there is much value in knowing and internalizing the guidelines in order to enable a person to navigate their life in a responsible and level-headed way, anchored in Torah values. Needless to say, in cases of difficulty, a competent Rov/Rebbetzin and/or a professional therapist should be consulted.
